Welcome and thank you for your interest in Pet Assurance Warranty Service.
Your organization works hard to place homeless pets with loving families, and you want to get them off to a good start. When a family adopts, your organization makes sure the animal is up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and sometimes provide other goodies such as a leash or a toy. But do not stop there. Offer a little something extra through our PAWS warranty program and watch adoptions increase, watch your organization gain positive recognition in your community, and watch returned animals decrease.
When the animal goes home with kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection, it has a very negative direct impact on the whole adoption experience. The newly adopted pet is ill, the consumer is worried, and the vet bill is large. The consumer spreads her experience with your shelter, telling the story over and over again. On our PAWS warranty program, the adoption experience is a pleasant one and here is what the consumer will recall: "I adopted Rover from Second Chance Humane Society and the poor little guy had a rough life. Even after I adopted him he was so sick, poor little thing. That Second Chance Humane Society really helped me out though. I just took him to the vet and I got reimbursed for his treatment and medication." In this scenario, the whole adoption experience was worthy of talking about, and good publicity is priceless! Whoever was listening will certainly pass along her experience when they or someone else contemplates adopting a pet. Furthermore, the the consumer kept the animal and it was not returned, increasing the number of animals placed permanently in homes.
Our program is so easy, and it is a fantastic selling point for the consumer in their decision to adopt a pet.
PAWS will also donate $5.00 per adopted animal back to the organization (some restrictions do apply). If you adopt out 100 animals or more a month and your organization makes our program mandatary with every adopted pet, then your organization will receive $5.00 back for every animal adopted. A check will be sent every 6 months and it is a significant donation. For example, suppose your organization adopts out 100 animals a month for a year. Then, PAWS will donate back to your organization a total of $6,000.00 dollars each year for as long as your organization is on our program. If you adopt out more pets per month the amount will increase significantly. This is not a marketing promotion that ends after the first year. This bonus donation runs for the duration of your involvement with our PAWS warranty program, year after year.
The chart below shows coverage highlights for the standard PAWS warranty program for pet adoptions. Plans start at a one-time fee of only $30.00 per animal. The consumer, not your organization, pays this amount at the time of sale, and they are delighted to know that their newly adopted pet comes with veterinarian bill reimbursement should the animal fall ill, which, unfortunately, does happen.
